What is the proper procedure
for preparing a Castor Oil Pack?
First, gather together three 8 X 10
sized pieces of previously washed, white or organic cotton or
wool flannel. Place one sheet down on a non-porous surface
(counter top or glass table). Apply a thin coat of castor oil
over the entire sheet. Follow the same procedure with the second
and third sheets applying one on top of the other. Then take the
ãpackä and apply it to the affected area, cover with plastic
(***IT STAINS ANY CLOTHING OR LINENS IT COMES IN CONTACT WITH).
Apply a hot water bottle (better than electric) to keep it warm.
You can sleep with it or use it as long as it provided relief.
It will open capillaries and the castor oil acts as a healing
agent. ***NOTE: You can save and reuse this pack time and time
again. Wrap it in waxed paper and plastic and place it in the
refrigerator until next use. ALSO NOTE: This is different from
the clay pack which MUST BE DISCARDED after each use, as it
absorbs toxins through the skin into the clay.
